Our Story: From Local Guide to Keriz Adventure
Keriz Adventure began not as a company, but as a personal journey.
My name is Roni, and I started my career in tourism in Lombok in 2010. In the early days, I worked independently as a local guide, relying heavily on cooperation with local agents and word-of-mouth recommendations to meet travelers from around the world. I guided guests through Lombok’s beaches, villages, waterfalls, and mountains, learning directly from the field — not from textbooks or offices, but from real interactions with travelers and local communities.
Being a guide allowed me to understand what travelers truly need: honesty, safety, flexibility, and authentic experiences. Over the years, this experience shaped my philosophy in tourism — that the best trips are not rushed, not rigid, and not mass-produced.
As tourism in Lombok continued to grow, I expanded my involvement beyond guiding. I established a café and restaurant in Senaru, located strategically at the official entrance to Sendang Gila and Tiu Kelep Waterfalls, two of the most famous natural attractions in Lombok. This location is also known as the main gateway to Mount Rinjani, Indonesia’s second-highest volcano and one of Southeast Asia’s most iconic trekking destinations.
From this base in Senaru, Keriz Adventure was officially formed — combining guiding experience, hospitality, logistics, and local partnerships into one integrated travel service.

The name Keriz Adventure carries deep personal meaning.
“Keriz” is a combination of the names of my two children, symbolizing responsibility, legacy, and long-term commitment. This company is not built for short-term profit, but for sustainability — for my family, my community, and the environment we depend on.
Every trip we organize reflects this mindset. We aim to operate responsibly, respect local customs, support local workers, and protect nature so future generations — including my own children — can continue to enjoy these places.
